The thought was there

******
Sorry for the lack of posts - I've had 3 major projects going on all at once ... 2 are now done so things are getting better. Just in time too, the weather here is absolutely gorgeous (no more stinking-hot, sweaty summers for us!) and it will be nice to enjoy my nights and weekends with my family again!

Poor Kara. Her intentions were really good.

Kara cannot wait until she can write "like mummy". We find her text on white boards, black boards, concrete, and any paper she can find. They often look like hieroglyphics and she now writes her letters backwards, and from right to left - I am wondering if this is because she is left handed and this makes sense to her.

Anyway, we were discussing that since she can "write" now, we could write secret notes to each other and leave them under our pillows. Off Kara went, skipping upstairs with pen and paper to leave a secret note for me and daddy under our pillows.

This is not quite what I had in mind when I said to leave a note under our pillows ... yes, written on the actual sheet under our pillows ...

Zoe writes her letters and words backwards too.

I love it. If they were my sheets, I wouldn't love it quite as much, but because they're your sheets, I think it's simply fantastic that she wrote you a special note in a special place. (And I was going to type this comment backwards, but I'm not as clever as Kara is.)
