Finally caught up

Yes! I have finally caught up to the current date, more or less. So the real reason behind this blog is that we are moving back to Seattle and this blog is our way of keeping our family back in Oz and our friends here in DC up to date with the clan.

So the latest on the girls - Sophie is now 6.5 months and Kara is 26 months.

Sophie is finally cutting her first two teeth, after teething for what has seemed like 3 straight months now. She is sitting up well and appears to be on the verge of crawling. And of course she just keeps on smiling!

Kara is finally doing well with potty training - this is the 3rd day in a row where she has told me she needs "poo poo potty mummy" BEFORE she has needed to go. She then tries to hold on as best she can (varying degrees of success) but this is great progress indeed. She's also doing well with the "pee pee potty" and often waits until her routine times on the loo. Thank goodness for this!
