Kara & Sophie together

I couldn't be happier with the interaction between my 2 girls. There is of course the occasional swipe from Kara, and there was 1 biting episode .... come to think of it, Kara also likes to knock Sophie over like a bowling pin now that Sophie is sitting ... but overall Kara has been the besotted, dotting, and at times obsessed big sister. First thing Kara "demands" every morning is to see Sophie, and lord help us if we try to put Kara to bed without her kissing Sophie goodnight on both cheeks. She often reads books to her and sings songs to her, and Ring Around A Rosie (including actions) is a favorite.

Kara is now really beginning to realize that Sophie can join in on the games. Kara's latest game is to hide directly behind Sophie when she's in the booster seat and play peak-a-boo to either side as Sophie tries to turn her head to catch a glimpse of Kara, giggling the whole time.


For the first 2 months, every day when Kara came home she had to sit on the couch and play with Sophie.

Despite Kara's tom-boy antics to date, she really is quite gentle with Sophie most of the time.

You can't half tell these 2 are sisters! They have the same eyes, nose and mouth.
