It seems that the couch is now well used and Kara is quickly learning the ins and outs of ice hockey. And although Kara has almost never sat in front of the TV, she rarely sees either Jason or Daddy more than 5 feet from the computer.
So the bad influence part includes, but is certainly not limited to:
(1) Sophie has woken up twice now and the first words out of her mouth have been "Ockey, Ockey, Ockey" (Sophie's way of saying Hockey), and when I pull the car up to our house after picking them up at night Sophie often runs up to the front stairs yelling "Ockey, Ockey, Ockey"!
(2) Jason telling Kara to go up to Daddy and repeat "I'm voting for McCain!"; and
(3) Jason constantly saying to Kara "go ask your mummy if you can have some ice-cream".
Hmmm ....
