Before

To explain what we've been up to for the last 3-4 weeks, here are the before shots:

This is the kitchen when we arrived. Lots of cupboard space but all totally useless and unreachable. No counter space and oh, ugly!!

To prove my point about them being useless ... although it did come in handy to store Kara's artwork ...


Then there was this blue bench which was too low to practically use, but just the right height for the girls to smack their heads on as they came around the corner. It was the first thing to go.

Gosh, I don't think Sophie was even crawling when we first moved here.

Then there was my pantry space ... 6-inch deep cupboards in a hallway ...
