Mummy (a.k.a 'horsey')This is where I wish I were in my 20's again, what with a combined weight of at least 55 lbs on my back. And I can't be one of those old clydesdales mindlessly sauntering along, oh no, I have to be a wild mare running and bucking with the wind in my mane! (Seriously, my back is aching tonight). I'm noticing my lack of fitness with all the hills here in Seattle - although in my defense I am typically pushing the stroller uphill with Sophie and the groceries with one hand, plus a bouncing Kara on my shoulders, while trying to run between trees as I'm looking for shelter from the constant rain and trying to keep the umbrella somewhere in the vacinity of Sophie's head. This scenario was repeated this morning except we got stuck in a hail-storm instead of just rain! Yes, while my counterparts back in DC are enjoying 70*+ weather, we are still enjoying (or not) sub 40* temps and constant rain. We even had a dusting of snow last night - give me a break Seattle, it's mid April!!
Have I mentioned it rains a lot here ... ?

Well, you seem to have pulled it together to get Kara a haircut. She looks very cute!
If it's any consolation this is the second day of nonstop rain here in DC and I couldn't have been a bucking stallion even in my 20s.
