I asked Kara last week to make a collage for Daddy. She started by drawing Daddy ... which, just in case you didn't recognize him, is the stick figure in pink towards the upper left, with squiggly hair, dots for his facial features, no arms, but at least he has two legs.

Kara drew Daddy again this week on the inside of his Father's Day card - more recognizable facial features, the same squiggly hair, two legs ... and two arms!

HAPPY DADDY'S DAY!!!

I think Kara's drawing might be quite sophisticated for her age. It's more similar to my sister's pre-K class (at the beginning of the year) than to Esther's rendition of Daddy. Ask her what she wants to draw and then guide her through it. So, if she says she wants to draw a cat, have her draw the cat's face, eyes, whiskers, then ears, etc.
I'm very impressed. Every drawing of Eamon's turns into a snake.
