This imaginary Kara is very odd.
Well, not the imaginary Kara per se, but the situation. Usually I am the only one that (has to) interact with her, but today the real Kara placed a blanket on the floor for the Other Kara, scooped the Other Kara up in her arms, placed her ever so gently on the blanket, then proceeded to rub the Other Kara's back until she fell asleep.
Or, maybe it's that Kara lacks originality and the only name she could think of to call her imaginary friend was "Kara".

Maybe we could learn something from her technique? How quickly did imaginary Kara fall asleep? More quickly than real Kara :)
Ahhh...toddler narcissism. At our house, we have imaginary friends named Connor, dolls named Connor, a fish named Connor, a stuffed dog named Connor...and on, and on, and on.
