Really know you, that is.
And I don’t mean does he actually know what color your eyes are, your childhood nickname, or your favorite movie of all time.
Here’s a hypothetical scenario – what if your partner was to come home one day and say “honey, I bought us a house today”. A house that you were to spend the next ‘x’ number of years in. A space for your children to chase each other around. A sanctuary to come home to after a stressful day’s work. A place to start a lifetime full of memories.
Would he know you well enough to do this?
What if it weren’t a hypothetical?
Lance put an offer on a house in Seattle and it was accepted. On the one hand, I am mostly relieved that we have a house to move into almost as soon as we get there. I did not want to rent while looking for houses and move the girls twice. On the other hand, historically it has been me that has found our house each time and ultimately decided where we were to live. Although I am blindly trusting his judgment this time, Lance is so excited about this house that it’s hard not to share his enthusiasm (although he scares me when he uses words like “potential” and “updating”!). But I don’t think we can go wrong as the location is perfect, with supposed views of the mountains.
So how well does Lance know me …… I’ll let you know in a few blogs time!

OK, I'll admit that it looks really cute! And with 5 bedrooms and 2900 sq. ft. I don't think we can go too wrong.

I'd be terrified if R. ever did that but this looks like the perfect "little" house.
Wow, it really, really looks adorable. I am DROOLING over the 5 bedrooms part - that's really the best, isn't it? A house that looks old but has the space without the boring-ness of a McMansion!
