It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas ....

Most of the leaves have fallen .... it's getting colder .... and Santa seems to be everywhere already.

Late on Saturday we headed down to Alexandria, VA for the Annual Holiday Boat Lighting Festival/Parade. We missed the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus but we caught the tail end of the 50 or so brightly lit sailing vessels cruising along the Potomac River.

We caught up with Pahki and her family on Sunday for an incredibly good Indian dinner - next time we'll go there WITHOUT kids!
