Time Out Mummy !

Another quiet-ish weekend - our time was spent at the Natural History Museum, Stanton Park, and a play date at Teo's house (along with Esther and Zoe).

Time Out Mummy!
We have never done "time outs" at home, but they obviously do this at day care. There I was this morning minding my own business, just reading the newspaper, when I was informed "time out mummy!". I was literally marched to the next room and was told to "sit on couch ... sit properly!". Dad was heard chuckling in the other room, then to his surprise he was told "time out daddy!". He too was herded into the room with me and placed next to me on the couch. I turned to Lance:

Mummy: So what are you in here for?
Kara: Stop talking!
Mummy: Shhhhh Daddy.
Kara: Stop sushing!
Mummy: (laughing)
Kara: Stop smiling!

I only hope that Kara got this from watching others in time out, as opposed to first hand experience of being in time out .... but knowing my gal ....
