So Kara has developed a little stutter of late, and only with her what/when/why's.
Example:
W-w-w-w-w-w-w-what are you doing mummy?
W-w-w-w-w-w-w-when are we going to the supermercado?
W-w-w-w-w-w-w-why are you doing that?
In an odd way it's kind of cute (although I'll deny saying this if it lasts). Often it's when she starts a sentence but gets instantly distracted by something else, so you can see her mind trying to do 10 things at once and her language suffers. But other times she is looking straight at me and trying in all earnest to get the word out of her mouth. And then half the time it comes out normally!

Hey - Esther was doing the same thing a couple months ago and she will occasionally do it now. My sister consulted with 2 different speech therapists that she works with and they both said that it's completely a non-issue and that the parents should just look at the child and wait for them to speak. In essence, pretend she isn't even stuttering. We were sure to tell her teachers at school the same thing, because they are so kind I was afraid they would say something like "Just slow down and take your time honey." The speech therapists were specific to say that the stutter should not be addressed at all. The bad thing is that David and I think it sounded cute, so we accidentally started doing it to each other: "Y-y-y-y-you want some water?
Zoe does this too when she's super excited. We treat it like a non-issue.
