Yet another menu

No idea why I post about what we eat ... especially at Thanksgiving ... maybe it's so I know what worked (or didn't!).

It's just the family this year so I thought I would keep things simple - I am hoping the girls will then help cook and eat everything too.

So the plan:

  • Tofurky! with pineapple and a reduced pineapple/ginger ale/thyme sauce
  • Roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts, with herbs and parmesan
  • Green beans, with a pine-nut butter sauce (one of my favorite recipes)
  • Maple syrup glazed carrots
  • Sweet potato balls, with marshmallow centers all rolled in coconut (sounds sickly sweet)
  • Apple pie! (another fave recipe)
And, continuing on with a tradition I started several years ago, my cooking will be conducted with a few Bloody Marys - yum!

Thanksgiving makes me think of your family and the Thanksgiving we shared. Your menu this year sounds awesome (although I'm fairly suspicious of tofurky) :)
