I never thought I would be spending 3 days blogging about nits!
All I can say is that taking the time to do this right, and catching it early, pays off. All gone, even the nits. It's now just shiny beautiful hair once again.

Oh thank God you didn't have to resort to cutting her hair!
Congratulations on your hard work and I'm glad Kara did not mind the M&Ms and movie treatment
Keep an eye out for things you may have missed the first time - a random brush, hat, hair clip, stuffed animal, etc...
Happy it's been taken care of !!!
Let me clear this up, so lice are the one that crawl black ones and nits are the eggs or is it the other way around?
And BTW good for you that on the third day you found nothing! It just gives me the creeps!!
I'm so glad they're gone. But should it ever happen again may it be in November so you have something to blog about.
OK, to gross everyone out ... lice are the gray-ish things with moving legs ... eggs/nits are small white things ... and the black bits are supposedly lice poop! I only ever saw 1 black spot, thank god! The difference between the eggs/nits and dandruff and normal scalp "stuff" is that the dandruff/scalp stuff is easy to move about or comb out. The eggs/nits are literally attached to the hair, often a little away from the scalp, and take a lice comb to get out or your nails!
I feel like I am an expert now.
Raise the roof. So happy for you.
