Kara has beautiful, beautiful hair.
So many other parents comment on Kara's hair. Mainly because there is so much of it - so incredibly thick and lush - and it has a lovely way of swishing when she walks and bouncing when she runs. The color is glorious too - the bulk of it is a light-mid brown color but then she has these natural highlights - blond and a more golden-copper color throughout. I would pay big bucks to have my hair highlighted like this (oh wait, I do!).
Her hair is incredibly straight and it's quite hard to do much with it since it's so thick. So it just kinda hangs (just like mine but thankfully she is far too young to dislike it yet!). She really doesn't like it in pigtails - she prefers to have it out so she can flick it off her face. Plus, Kara also has started the habit of chewing her hair which she couldn't do if it was pulled up! When we wash her hair (and use tonnes of conditioner) she loves it when daddy combs it straight and makes it "extra pretty" - she keeps rushing to the mirror to see how extra pretty it is! (Seriously, she'll stand there for at least 5 minutes after he has finished, just flicking and swishing her hair from side to side).
My beautiful Kara!

how sweet
Her hair really is beautiful!
These are the years for our kids to be vain...later on we'll need to cover up the mirrors and tell them to stare at their books instead!
