MNO

So to keep on with the wonderful tradition on Mum's Night Out ... a few of us here have started the "Seattle Chapter" of MNO. True to form it has been on the first Friday of each month ... but I guess this month got away from us. So tonight was the night!

I had been swamped at work the last couple of days and I've been feeling out of it this week, so I was so close to saying count me out this time ... but then I thought THIS IS MNO for heck sake and I'm going!

We went to an upscale hip mexican place and ended up having tequila samplers (yes, we have taken it up a notch in the Seattle Chapter .... having said that I took one sip and remembered that I REALLY should stay away from tequila - pity as it supposedly was really good quality). We felt like a coffee & cake afterwards ... but all the cafes had closed at 10pm in this area ... all the bars, clubs and band venues were rocking ... but nowhere to get ice-cream or cake. Again, true to form, we shall seek out a restaurant next time that is close to cake AND open after 10pm!
