Morning rush hour

Not to rub your nose in it Ellen, but I gotta say I'm pretty darn good at getting everyone ready and out in the morning.

Yesterday Kara (and therefore Lance and I) woke up at 6:45am, Lance had to leave by 7am, Sophie hadn't yet woken up by 7:15am (it killed me to go in and wake her, but I didn't have any choice) .... and I got myself and the girls OUT THE DOOR at 7:29am! I even had time to make my coffee!

Of course I had all their clothes and lunch/snacks ready the night before. And it did involve shoving a banana in Sophie's hand as we jumped in the car. But still!

I guess they are both so used to us typically leaving by about 7:30am, give or take. One day I didn't have to leave home until 8:30 so I had planned a leisurely breakfast and morning for the girls - but by about 7:30 Kara had already put her shoes and jacket on and Sophie was waiting for us by the front door with her jacket!
