Mummy is apparently already embarrassing!
When I drop Kara off we have a routine of putting her lunch in the fridge, putting her jacket in the cubby, putting her indoor shoes on, etc. Then we walk to the classroom, I drop to my knees and she kisses me on both cheeks then snuggle hugs me on both sides. Week after week.
Yesterday I dropped her off and went through the usual routine. We walked to the classroom, I dropped to my knees and Kara says "Oh no mommy, please move away from the door. We'll do it over there out the way!"
And the same thing this morning "Let's do it over here mommy. I don't want to see the other kids".
Wow - I thought I would at least have until she was 10 years old before she did this. As a way of compensation though, she now gives me kisses on both checks twice, plus two sets of snuggle hugs.
(She is also wearing her pink hoodie ALL DAY long at school ... with the hood always on her head ... so she looks like a teenager going through "a stage"! It's so funny - I'm glad it's pink and not black or she would look like a goth!).

Oh, I can't believe it is happening already!!!! Are the teenage years too far away?
Yikes, that is too early. Hope it's a passing thing!
